Varicose veins and spider veins are among the most undertreated conditions in Charlotte County, and for a simple reason: most people assume the aching, heaviness, and swelling in their legs is just part of getting older. It is not. These are signs of venous insufficiency, a progressive condition that gets worse without treatment, not better.
Our Port Charlotte location is served by Dr. Joseph Iraci, a board-certified vascular surgeon and vein specialist with over 40 years of surgical experience, and Jared Reiss, PA-C, a nationally certified physician assistant who has spent his career focused exclusively on procedural vein care. Together they have completed more than 10,000 vein procedures across Southwest Florida.
All treatments are minimally invasive, performed right here in our Port Charlotte vein clinic in 15 to 45 minutes, and most patients return to their normal routine the same day. We accept most major insurance plans and our team completes all prior authorization paperwork before your first treatment begins, so you know your coverage upfront.

A catheter-based procedure that uses controlled radiofrequency energy to heat and close diseased veins from the inside. Blood automatically reroutes through healthier vessels nearby.

A non-surgical injection treatment that collapses spider veins and smaller varicose veins using a precisely administered solution. We also offer Ultrasound-Guided Sclerotherapy for deeper veins that are not visible at the surface.

An FDA-approved microfoam injection that treats varicose veins of varying sizes above and below the knee. No incisions, no heat, and no general anesthesia. The foam closes the vein and is naturally absorbed by the body.

Living with varicose veins can affect both how your legs feel and how they look, and it is more common than many people think. According to research from the National Library of Medicine, about 24% of adults in the United States have varicose veins, and 6% experience symptoms of chronic venous disease.
In Port Charlotte, that could translate to approximately 15,440 residents with visible varicose veins, while around 209 may be dealing with a more advanced underlying condition.
The important thing to know is that effective treatment is available. Our vein specialists focus on identifying the root cause and providing care that improves both comfort and appearance.
